Dr Cristina Gavilán has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Madrid (2005). She trained as a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics between 2006 and 2010 at the Doce de Octubre University Hospital in Madrid. Her international experience includes time at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester (USA), Prince of Wales University Hospital in Sydney (Australia), and Fertility Plus in Auckland (New Zealand). She also holds a Level III Certificate in Gynaecological and Obstetric Ultrasound from the Doce de Octubre University Hospital in Barcelona.
Dr Gavilán has participated in numerous national and international training courses and is a member of SEF (Spanish Fertility Society), ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology), and the Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the Balearic Islands.
Since January 2020, she has been part of the medical team at Instituto Bernabeu in Palma de Mallorca.
